When life melts your ice, go pub curling!
Given our unseasonably warm weather in Minnesota, out of caution for everyone’s safety the ice fishing portion of our February MERC education event is cancelled. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean we can’t still have some good Minnesota winter fun!

First up we will engage in a highly conversational education session “Looking Back and Launching Forward”, while enjoying hearty warm lunch in a Minnesotan winter. Come sit fireside with Connor Mattison (Edelman), Sarah Yantifovich (General Mills), and Hiroko Teshikawara (Beam Suntory),where we will dive into what went well in 2023, what may not have gone as planned, what was accomplished and what 2023 initiatives ultimately went on the backburner. We will then launch into the future regarding the group’s mobility program goals and initiatives are for 2024. It is sure to be an insightful and interactive conversation, not to be missed.
After the education session, we will be networking and fundraising, all while Pub Curling – no real ice needed! All proceeds will support The Foundation for Workforce Mobility, whose charities of choice this year are Family Promise, Move for Hunger, Eleven +, and the Scholarship Fund. There will be a variety of raffles, including the opportunity to win Minnesota made gift baskets and cold, hard cash!
Attire: Warm Casual (Jeans, sweaters, hat, fleece, flannel, mittens, boots…anything you feel comfortable curling in!)
*The first 60 registrants will receive a complimentary trapper hat.*
CRP/GMS credits will be available to attendees.
