Through fundraising drives and charity events, MERC and it’s member community support organizations in their efforts
to end hunger, poverty and homelessness, improve the lives of children and care for the elderly.

| MERC is aligning our 2026 fundraising efforts in support of a local Minneapolis organization, Joyce Uptown Foodshelf. Established in 1969, it's mission is to distribute food to those in need, with respect and dignity. Annually, Joyce Uptown Foodshelf is suppling thousands of families and individuals in the Twin Cities area with sustainable food options, relying on community donations of food and funds. Through our 50/50 raffle efforts at each event, and our Community outreach efforts, MERC hopes to help relieve food insecurity within the local area. |
