Our annual conference is the cornerstone event of MERC. 2018 marks our 34th Annual Conference and this year we are in a new venue, The McNamara Center on the University of Minnesota Campus. We look forward to a full day of education and networking.

As a reminder, membership to MERC is complimentary for individuals that are responsible for the relocation of their company’s employees. Individuals that provide a service or product to assist a company with relocating their employees are considered Supplier Members and must purchase a Supplier Membership to be eligible for the member rate. Memberships beginning in 2018 are purchased on an individual basis and cannot be purchased by a Company for use with multiple individuals. MERC has a new database starting in 2017 and currently only recognizes 2017 memberships for renewal in 2018. If you were a member in past years but not 2017 you will need to apply for "new" membership for 2018 because of this change to our website hosting site. We apologize for the inconvenience but you will find the new one time membership application process very simple.

The MERC 2018 Conference Welcome Reception will be held at the Hewing Hotel Library Social Lounge on February 12, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The Hewing Hotel is located at 300 Washington Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55401. Please try to RSVP with the question asked in your Conference Registration Process so we can get a rough head count for the event. There is valet parking available at the Hewing Hotel for $12. 9 HOLE MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
During the conference we will be having a charity mini golf tournament to benefit The Ronald McDonald House, cost towards event with all proceeds going to the charity are $50 for a predetermined foursome or $15 per individual golfer and we will group you with other individuals into a foursome. 32 teams are available. The McNamara Center is located on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus, across from Williams Arena and TCF Bank Stadium. An adjacent 500-car ramp is connected by tunnel to the Alumni Center. The ramp entrance is on University Ave. Parking is $3.00 per hour with a daily maximum of $12.00. Once inside the parking ramp, take the East elevator to tunnel B or street level. The Alumni Center is the copper building adjacent to the ramp.
