2019 Board Nomination and Election Process

The MERC organization has the following open positions available for interested members:

  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Education Chair
  • Membership Chair
  • Community Cares Chair

If you are interested in a position, please complete the following information and send by email to Jill McDonald at jill.mcdonald@sirva.com by March 26, 2019.

  • Name of the organization where you currently work
  • Number of years in the relocation industry
  • Why you are seeking this position (limit to one paragraph)

MERC only votes on executive board positions including Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.  MERC will include the information you provided above during the voting process. Providing this information is not a requirement for obtaining the position.  MERC does not allow campaiging.  Voting by our members will take place on-line beginning March 28th through April 5, 2019.  Newly elected officials will be announced at the MERC Education Meeting on April 9, 2019. 

The current active MERC board will review nominations/entries for the board chair positions and select candidates as it deems appropriate.  Newly selected officials will be announced at the MERC Education Meeting on April 9, 2019.
